Second developer diary launched for Landit Bandit

Swedish-based independent games developer, The Bearded Ladies talk about exciting casual-helicopter-adventure-game, Landit Bandit for the PlayStation®3 Network in their latest developer diary.

The second episode of The Bearded Ladies developer diaries is now ready! Meet the developers behind the soon-to-be-released casual-helicopter-adventure game, Landit Bandit. Hear about their story, visions and ideas. Be prepared to be knocked down by their charisma, as much as the outstanding qualities of the game.

The second diary will reveal more about the gameplay experience in Landit Bandit where you play as pilot, Marley – one of the central characters – and interact with a group of eccentric islanders. The new diary will also reveal more about the unique environments. Discover 6 gorgeous levels in a journey through Paradise, Ice worlds, to the Rock Mountains and back in time to a retro 2D Cave world.

Theme and tunes

Felt the blog needed a face-lift. Trawled through the spectrum of free themes before settling on a staggered sky scraper look. Wish the font was a little bigger though, and there was more red, but I’m sure my CSS-minded friends will be able to help me out – or any of my readers (yes, that’s where you lot come in).

Borrowing an idea from colleague and good friend Drunkengamer whereby people share their choices for songs across social networks – circa, #dailysong (feel free to join the movement on Twitter with a tweet featuring #dailysong) Mumford & Son with Little Lion Man captures the mood of the evening. If, if, if only I had paid more attention in school.

Spent the evening creating a podcast with two of the guys I work with at Thirteen1 magazine. Both are on Twitter: @drunkengamer and @d_gow Its actuallly drunkengamer’s weekly podcast in which he recap’s a full week’s worth of dailysong’s. Yes, its that time again. Hair cut!

The diet and training was going great. Then gf comes home with a 3D chinese curry, ribs and chips (sigh)

House clean and tidy. As a treat we have strawberry liquorice. Have calmed down after ranting about John Terry. He should know better!

Started the day with a jog to burn off last nights curry. Porridge is in my system. Now the clean up before visitors and party later. Woot!
